We are veteran-owned and operated by former Special Forces Military Working Dog Handlers. Our trainers follow the most effective and proven techniques to help teach the fundamentals of reliable and effective obedience whilst taught under distractions, with professional in-home sessions available for personalized training in your dog’s environment.

Master Of Puppies can assist you in achieving an obedient and well-mannered canine, as well as teaching you to become a more confident and competent handler in everyday ‘real-life’ situations. 

This positive form of dog training will teach you and your canine lifetime and practical skills.

Introducing Will, the mastermind behind Master Of Puppies and your trusted expert for professional dog training. With a distinguished career in the Australian Defence Force, Will served as an elite Navy Clearance Diver and later as an Australian Army Special Forces Commando, where he specialized in training and handling military working attack dogs. He has now transitioned that high-level expertise into effective, practical pet dog training programs.

No longer focused on training dogs to bite the enemy, Will has transformed his expertise into helping pet owners achieve reliable dog obedience, shape good behaviour, and rehabilitate problematic cases. From preventing biting incidents to teaching essential obedience commands, Will has the knowledge and experience to guide owners confidently through every stage of training.

But that’s not all. Will is also passionate about sharing his expertise with aspiring dog trainers. He mentors and trains the next generation of Master Of Puppies trainers, ensuring they achieve the highest standards of professionalism and skill in their craft.

After working closely under Master Of Puppies Head Trainer Will and successfully completing ‘The Alpha Canine Groups’ dog trainer course, Bree is now a proud trainer at MOP, serving the Western Brisbane region.

Bree has a lifelong love for dogs and a natural ability to connect with them. Her passion is helping owners and their dogs better understand each other through simple, effective training systems. Serving the Outer Logan and Scenic Rim regions, Bree makes professional dog training accessible to local families.

Bree’s methods are based on positive reinforcement, utilizing rewards and encouragement to produce reliable results while fostering leadership, respect, and trust between the dog and its owner.

Dylan, along with his seasoned demo dog Ace, is an esteemed member of the Master Of Puppies team. With unwavering passion and deep affection for animals, he brings a wealth of experience and professional expertise in practical, results-driven dog training.

After spending four years in the pet dog industry and developing his skills in doggy daycare, Dylan’s journey led him to work closely under the guidance of Head Trainer Will at Master Of Puppies for an intensive year.

Now positioned as a proud trainer in the illustrious Gold Coast region, Dylan is poised to make a profound impact through his professional and brilliant training techniques.

Emma is a key member of the Master Of Puppies team, bringing extensive experience, expert knowledge, and deep affection for dogs. Alongside her demo dogs, Frank and Quinn, Emma has spent three years in the pet dog industry, honing her expertise in doggy daycare.

Her journey led her to work closely under the guidance of Head Trainer Will at Master Of Puppies for a transformative year. With unwavering passion, Emma found her calling to teach pet owners and their dogs simple and effective training methods, helping to strengthen the bond between them and improving their overall quality of life.

Emma, a professional trainer, continues to positively impact the lives of dogs and their human companions in the South East Queensland community.

Evan Master Of Puppies Trainer

Evan

Evan’s path to dog training wasn’t typical. After a successful career as a business owner in financial planning and insurance, he made the bold decision to leave the corporate world behind to pursue his true calling: transforming dogs’ lives through expert training.

His journey began when his own dog developed reactivity issues—a challenge that sparked a deep commitment to understanding canine behaviour and rehabilitation. After completing the Alpha Canine training course in 2024, Evan undertook a comprehensive year-long apprenticeship under Master Of Puppies’ Head Trainer, Will, where he gained invaluable hands-on experience tackling real-world behavioral issues across all breeds and temperaments.

Evan brings a calm, thoughtful approach to every session, helping owners across the Brisbane region better understand their dogs and build strong, lasting relationships based on clear communication and trust.
