Puppy Foundations Course – Master Of Puppies Gold Coast HQ (GCHQ)
A weekly group puppy class held at our Gold Coast HQ, designed to give your puppy the very best start in life.
Our 4-week Puppy Foundations Course runs on the same day and time each week, with a maximum of 6 puppies per class to ensure every owner receives personalised guidance and support.
This course focuses on building calm, confident, well-balanced dogs through early education, structure, and exposure. We place a strong emphasis on prevention — setting clear habits, boundaries, and communication from the beginning to avoid common behavioural issues later on.
At Master Of Puppies, we prioritise real-world outcomes. That means developing puppies who can remain neutral, composed, and responsive around people, dogs, and everyday environments.
What we cover:
• Management and safety in the home
• Effective communication and handler skills
• Building healthy habits from day one
• Confidence in new environments
• Exposure to sounds, surfaces, and obstacles
• Enrichment and engagement
• Appropriate socialisation
• Social neutrality around dogs and people
Each course begins with an in-depth educational session, giving you clear, practical guidance on structure, boundaries, and setting your puppy up for long-term success.
From there, we focus heavily on environmental development using our structured puppy obstacle course — safely exposing puppies to new surfaces, movement, sounds, and controlled challenges to build confidence and resilience.
A key concept we teach is social neutrality — helping your puppy stay calm and focused around distractions, rather than becoming overexcited, fearful, or reactive.
This is one of the most valuable investments you can make before your puppy reaches adolescence and begins testing boundaries.
