A weekly group puppy class held at Master Of Puppies Gold Coast HQ (GCHQ).
Our 4-week Puppy Foundations Course runs on the same day and time each week, with a maximum of 6 puppies per class to ensure every owner receives personalised guidance and support.
This course is designed to give puppies the very best start in life by building confidence, resilience, environmental stability, and healthy social skills from an early age.
At Master Of Puppies, we strongly believe that early education is the key to both the prevention and early rehabilitation of behavioural issues. Our goal is to help raise dogs that are calm, confident, and able to cope with the real world.
Throughout the course, we guide owners through the fundamentals of puppy development, including:
• Management and safety in the home
• Effective communication and handler skills
• Building healthy habits from day one
• Confidence in new environments
• Exposure to sounds, surfaces, and obstacles
• Enrichment and engagement
• Appropriate socialisation
• Social neutrality around dogs and people
Each course begins with an educational session covering everything you need to know as a puppy owner, including practical advice on structure, boundaries, communication, and setting your puppy up for long-term success.
From there, we focus heavily on environmental development and real-world confidence building, using our structured puppy obstacle course to safely expose puppies to different surfaces, movement, sounds, and challenges.
One of the most important concepts we teach is social neutrality — helping puppies learn how to remain calm, focused, and appropriate around other dogs and people, rather than becoming overexcited, fearful, or reactive.
This is one of the most valuable investments you can make before your puppy reaches adolescence and begins testing boundaries.
It is a must for owners wanting to start their puppy on the right track from the beginning.
