FAQ Section — Doggy Daycare Gold Coast
How much does dog daycare cost on the Gold Coast?
Pricing for our dog daycare Gold Coast program varies depending on how often your dog attends and whether you choose a casual day pass or a package. Every dog also requires a Full-Day First Day Assessment before joining regular daycare. Visit our Rates page for current pricing, or contact us on 0478 111 667 for a personalised quote.
What days is your dog daycare open?
As part of our soft launch, Gold Coast Doggy Daycare currently operates on Mondays and Thursdays. We’re expanding to all five weekdays as demand grows, giving clients more flexibility and more opportunities for consistent progress.
Do I need to book an assessment before starting dog daycare?
Yes. Every new dog must complete a Full-Day First Day Assessment before joining our dog daycare Gold Coast program. This lets our trainers evaluate temperament, confidence, social skills, and behaviour around other dogs and people, so we can confirm your dog is a good fit for our structured environment.
Is dog daycare suitable for anxious, reactive, or nervous dogs?
Our dog daycare is trainer-led rather than a free-for-all play environment, which makes it a good option for many anxious or under-socialised dogs. Trainers actively manage social interaction, behaviour shaping, and rest/decompression periods throughout the day, so dogs aren’t left to fend for themselves. The First Day Assessment helps us confirm whether a dog is currently suited to our daycare setting or would benefit from private training first.
What's included in a day at Master Of Puppies dog daycare?
Every dog daycare Gold Coast visit includes supervised social play with suitable dogs, trainer-led behaviour shaping, professional agility and obstacle work, canine treadmill conditioning, doggy pool sessions, mental enrichment activities, and structured rest periods — all guided by qualified trainers.
How is your dog daycare different from a normal doggy daycare?
Unlike typical free-for-all daycare, our Gold Coast facility is trainer-led and structured around fitness, confidence-building, and behaviour shaping. Every activity — from pool sessions to agility work — is guided by qualified trainers, so dogs go home calmer, fitter, and better behaved, not just tired.
Do you offer dog boarding as well as daycare?
Master Of Puppies currently focuses on structured dog daycare and training on the Gold Coast. Check our Services page for our full range of programs, including private training and our Doggy Bootcamp.
What age can puppies start dog daycare?
We assess every dog individually during the Full-Day First Day Assessment, which looks at temperament, confidence, and social readiness rather than age alone. Get in touch on 0478 111 667 and we can advise whether your puppy is ready to join.
How often should my dog attend daycare for the best results?
Consistency is key. Dogs who attend our dog daycare Gold Coast program regularly tend to show the greatest improvements in calmness at home, confidence in new environments, behaviour around other dogs and people, and overall obedience. The more regularly your dog attends, the more progress they make.
What areas of the Gold Coast do you service?
